Homespun Homeschool Week #23

Week 23 of Homeschool: We learned about George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln for President’s Day, built structures with toothpicks and marshmallows, worked on our reading with rhyming candy hearts, looked at terms of contrast in 1 Peter, painted in the style of artist Clementine Hunter for Black History Month, spotted a Red Shoulder Hawk in our backyard, performed an experiment to see how air pressure holds up a glass of water, read a love letter from Theodore Roosevelt to his fiancé (President’s and Valentines Day!), performed an experiment to prove that air contains oxygen, then another experiment to see how cold versus hot temperatures change air density, read about the armor of God and made our own, and created a  spin art machine with a box and circuit!
